We live in a world filled with convenience.
Through technological progress,
we now have access to countless products
that are affordable, efficient, and readily available.
In many ways, our lives have become more comfortable than ever before.
And yet, something feels out of balance.

When “more” becomes too much
We are often encouraged to want more.
More choices.
More products.
More convenience.
But this constant pursuit can quietly lead to exhaustion.
The earth begins to feel the strain.
Natural resources are depleted.
Waste continues to grow.
And within ourselves,
we may also begin to feel a sense of restlessness.
Even when we already have enough,
it can feel as though it is never quite enough.
Finding beauty in what is already here

When we pause and look around,
there is already so much to appreciate.
Flowers that quietly mark the changing seasons.
The warmth of wood.
The softness of natural light.
These are simple things,
yet they bring a deep sense of calm.
I have always been drawn to the idea of
“knowing when enough is enough.”
Not as a limitation,
but as a way to live more gently.
Sustainability in aromatherapy

This perspective also exists within the world of essential oils.
While essential oils are natural,
their production still raises important questions.
Some plants require large amounts of raw material
to produce a small quantity of oil.
In certain parts of the world,
there are concerns around labour conditions.
There are also ongoing discussions about
overharvesting and environmental impact.
These are things we cannot ignore.
Choosing consciously
The brand of essential oils I work with
is committed to more sustainable practices.
For example,
with each product purchased,
a tree is planted.
It is a small action,
but one that contributes to restoring balance.
No choice is ever perfect.
But we can choose with awareness.
A gentle commitment
For myself,
and for the generations to come,
I try to choose more natural and thoughtful options where possible.
Not out of pressure,
but from a quiet intention.
To live in a way that supports both
our own wellbeing
and the wellbeing of the planet.
